My Deakin University journey commenced in 1989 when I moved onto Res in what was referred to as ‘The Block’.
From undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, to taking on an academic role and now working as a professional, Deakin has provided me with so many opportunities. I have seen Deakin grow, evolve, adapt and prosper.
I am proud to have played a small role in supporting, encouraging and assisting many students and our doctors of the future. The original Collins/Laird building is no longer, however many old buildings (and people) still remain – and that speaks volumes.
