I fondly remember the bands that played in the café during Deakin Waurn Ponds Campus’ early days—Captain Matchbox, Dutch Tilders, Goanna, and many more. In 1976, I even drew the roll call on a ceiling tile on the third floor above the café. Does anyone else remember it? That room was the drawing studio for the School of Architecture at the time.
